Having little-to-no experience with addictive substances (other than alcohol), the author compiled this page to repair his ignorance in the subject. Purpose: Understand different addictive substances in terms of: (1) exitance, (2) historical usage, (3) physiological influence, (4) health risks. 

Method: (1) Searched Google for sources about the items stated in the article Purpose," (2) copied common keywords with references, (3) searched (4) claim abstraction (5) claim validation.  

Research and Discussion: Fig. 1 shows some of the top results from Google when searching for various addictive substances. This initial search resulted in After this initial search for terms, I looked more into specific substances, including but not limited to the historical usage, street name, physiological influence (sensational and neurological), and the health risks. Table 1 shows more detailed information regarding my research into these substances.
